New Story School is an educational organization comprised of special education schools in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with autism or emotional/behavioral disorders. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with families, school districts, and community partners to empower children in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives. n New Story in Carlisle, PA is searching for a Program Supervisor for management of the operational, clinical, and academic programs within New Story's In-District Program. This position works in collaboration with the Special Education Administrators employed in public schools.n Responsibilities nnEnsure compliance with program regulations, Department of Education and maintain relationships for updates in law and requirements.nWork Collaboratively with Special Education Teachers, Clinical team members, and Related Service providers of the program to ensure IEP compliance.nAssist with new IDP classroom development and growth strategies in collaboration with the Regional Vice President in accordance with organizational goals.nRepresent the company to school districts, community partners, the Department of Education, and all other entities involved with the student.nTravel to various classroom locations to provide direct support.nAssist with the process for referrals and admissions of students per PA regulations and New Story policy.nCommunicate routinely with parents to encourage parental participation in the education and behavior plan.nEnsure IDP positions maintain proper certification for their positions through BACB, PDE or other regulatory board.nProject training needs and coordinate training for staff to increase skill development.nParticipate in the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process by scheduling and attending IEP meetings, working collaboratively with IEP team members, and completing and preparing IEP paperwork as necessary.nReview lesson plans to ensure continuity with IEP goals.nAssist educational staff as needed to plan, implement, and adapt instructional activities.nEnsure special education teachers follow appropriate teaching practices and curricula.nAssist with oversight of attendance, truancy, and other administrative tasks related to student attendance.nProvide guidance to employees regarding the protocols for reporting child abuse and neglect.nCollaborate and provide oversight to educational, behavioral, and related services employees that work directly with students who have or are experiencing personal, social, and emotional issues.nPerform job responsibilities in a safe manner and adhere to safety practices and standards established by the company.nAdhere to Exposure Control Plan and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the task being performed.nMaintain student confidentiality in accordance with company policy and FERPA regulations.nAdhere to company policies and procedures.nn Benefitsn Eligible New Story School Employees will receive:nnCompetitive pay & benefits (Medical, Dental & Vision)nEmployee Discount Programn401K with company contributionnFlexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account optionsnGenerous paid time off & paid holidaysnTuition reimbursementnRewards Program which allows you to earn points to purchase itemsnn New Story Schools is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and embraces diversity in the workplace. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
